Elderly Needs

Physical Needs

There is a nurse helping an old man to change his medicine so that he can be strong. It took place in the hospital. The old man look weak as he is very skinny and his hand is holding his stomach. The loss of strength and stamina attributed to aging is in part caused by reduced physical activities.
The things are there is to help the elderly to stay strong and stay longer. The old man would probably pass away if the medicine is not being change. They are changing the medicine given to the elderly allowing his body to function properly again. The elderly probably have some pain or having some disease as he look real sick in the picture.
Where are his family members? Why didnt they come and visit him when he is feeling sick? He can eat the medicine that the doctor gave him punctually, do not miss any of it. This can help his body condition better. I wonder if he is sad that his family members aint around and is he staying well in there.

Interpret
why are the things there
what possible human behavior can you describe from the scenario
why are the people doing those actions
describe a possible story behind the picture
imagine
what ques do you have with regards to the scenario
what needs can arise from the scenario(pies)
what does it make you wonder?..... i wonder

Intellectual Needs

http://media.lonelyplanet.com/lpi/22984/22984-9/681x454.jpg

It help the elderly to train its mind as it will need the brain to think while they are playing. This is able to keep their brain strong enough sot that they are able to function properly. The elderly will play it during their free time. It allows them to meet new friends while playing chess. They also wont feel bored playing as it is quite a difficult game to play.
It is to prevent the elderly from being bored at home. When they feel bored, they can play this and also allowing time to pass quickly. They might get angry at their partners and also might fall asleep while playing as it will take a very long time for one game to be done. They can give each other suggestion on what move to make next.
Wont they feel bored playing with the same people everyday?  They can try on other games like doing some sports to prevent them from being too stiff and also keep them fit. I wonder if they like to play with the same people everyday?

Emotional Needs

This is a place where elderly will come and have a seat when they are bored staying at home. They will feel a bit of depression as they will think that their children don't want them anymore. It took place in a neighborhood. It is a good place for them to seat down and talk as they are able to communicate with other people and also sharing their problem with them.Elderly may feel lonely at home as their children are gone to work.It helps them a lot. They would be able to feel happy after talking to their friend.

Social needs

A group of elderly is playing games together. It happen in some community centre whereby there are activities held for the elderly to take part in. It is a chance whereby they can release their stress and wont feel bored. It also help them to move their hands around so that it wont be so stiff. Allowing the blood to flow through it. There were games that was prepared for them and also people cheering them to encourage them.
